Tech & Process Audit

Get an honest, data-backed picture of where your organization stands today — before you spend a dollar on change.

What we evaluate

We go deep on five dimensions that determine whether your technology and processes are helping or holding you back.

Tech stack

Languages, frameworks, databases, infrastructure, hosting — are you on modern, supported tooling or accruing technical debt that'll cost you later?

Workflows & processes

How work actually gets done: handoffs, approvals, bottlenecks. We map the real process, not the one in the SOP document nobody follows.

Team capabilities

Who knows what, where the single points of failure are, and whether your team has the skills to operate what you already own — let alone what you want to build.

Data & reporting

How you collect, store, and use data. We look at data quality, accessibility, and whether your reporting actually drives decisions or just fills slide decks.

Security & compliance

Access controls, patching cadence, backup practices, and any regulatory obligations relevant to your industry. We flag the urgent stuff first.

What you get

Three concrete documents you can act on immediately — not a 200-page binder that sits on a shelf.

Current-state report

A plain-English summary of what we found across all five dimensions, including direct quotes from your team, system diagrams, and a risk register. Typically 15–25 pages — dense with findings, light on jargon.

Gap analysis

Where you are vs. where you need to be for each dimension, scored on a simple red / yellow / green scale. We anchor every gap to a business outcome so you can explain the urgency to leadership.

Prioritized opportunities

A ranked list of 8–15 specific initiatives, each with a rough effort estimate (S/M/L), expected impact, and whether it's a quick win or a longer-term play. Includes at least three things you can start on next week with existing staff.

Typical timeline

We move fast because we know you have a day job. The assessment is designed to minimize disruption while still producing meaningful depth.

PhaseDurationWhat happens
Kickoff & discoveryWeek 1Stakeholder interviews (typically 8–12 people across departments), system access, tooling inventory
Deep-dive analysisWeeks 2–3Codebase review, architecture assessment, process mapping, data-flow analysis, spot-checks on security posture
Synthesis & deliveryWeek 4Report writing, opportunity prioritization workshop with your team, final readout presentation to stakeholders

Shorter for smaller orgs (as little as 2 weeks for companies under 50 people), up to 6 weeks for larger or multi-site engagements.

Who it's for

This engagement is built for organizations that know they need to change but aren't sure what to change first — or what the real problems even are.

  • You've outgrown your tools
  • Your team is overwhelmed by manual workarounds
  • You're planning a major investment and need an outside opinion
  • You've had a failed or stalled transformation attempt
  • A new leader wants a clear baseline before committing to a direction
