Hands-On Execution

We don't just tell you what to do — we work alongside your team to build it, ship it, and make sure it sticks.

How we work alongside your team

We embed engineers, not just advisors. Our model is designed to transfer ownership to your team from day one — we succeed when you don't need us anymore.

Embedded, not remote

Our people join your standups, sit in your Slack, and pair with your developers. We're not a black box that disappears between status calls — we're in the trenches with you.

Your stack, your standards

We adapt to your tech stack, coding conventions, and deployment pipeline. We're not here to impose our preferred framework — we're here to make your existing tools work better.

Pairing & mentoring

Every implementation engagement includes dedicated pairing hours. Your developers work on the critical path alongside ours, learning by building real features, not just watching demos.

Gradual handoff

We phase ourselves out intentionally. By month 2, your team owns routine work. By month 4, you're leading architecture decisions. By the end, you don't need us for day-to-day operations.

Training & capability building

Technology is only half the battle. We invest in your people so the change sticks long after our engagement ends.

Hands-on workshops

Live, interactive sessions on the specific tools and practices your team will use every day. No death-by-slides — participants are in the codebase within the first 30 minutes.

  • CI/CD pipeline fundamentals
  • Test-driven development in your stack
  • Infrastructure-as-code bootcamp

Pairing & code review

Your developers ship production code with our engineers pairing alongside them. We review every PR together and explain the 'why' behind every suggestion.

  • Daily pairing rotations
  • Collaborative code reviews
  • Architecture decision records (ADRs)

Documentation that lives

We produce runbooks, architecture docs, and onboarding guides that your team can maintain. Written in your wiki, Notion, or repo — wherever your team already works.

  • System architecture diagrams
  • Deployment runbooks
  • Team onboarding handbook

Internal champions program

We identify and develop 2–4 internal champions who become the go-to experts. They get extra mentoring time and lead the final phase of the engagement.

  • Weekly 1:1 mentoring sessions
  • Lead the sprint retro
  • Run a brown-bag session for peers

How we measure success

We define measurable KPIs at the start of every engagement and report on them monthly. No vanity metrics — just things that matter to your business.

MetricHow we track it
Deployment frequencyFrom your CI/CD dashboard — we target a meaningful increase within 60 days
Lead time for changesTime from commit to production — we benchmark week 1 and report monthly improvement
Team self-sufficiency scoreWeekly survey: "Could you handle this without external help?" — tracked per developer, reported as a team average
Business outcome metricsSpecific to your engagement: could be order processing time, system uptime, customer onboarding speed, or error rates

What "done" looks like

We exit when these five things are true. If they aren't, we're not done.

1

Your team can deploy, monitor, and roll back independently — no calling us at 2 a.m.

2

All new systems and processes are documented in your own wiki or repo, maintained by your team.

3

Your internal champions are running architecture discussions and onboarding new hires without our involvement.

4

The KPIs we defined together are trending in the right direction and your team owns the dashboard.

5

You have a 90-day post-engagement plan that your team wrote — we review it, but you own it.

Typical engagement

Implementation engagements run from 3 to 12 months depending on scope. We structure them in 90-day increments with clear go/no-go decision points.

Small engagement

3 months

Single team, one or two workstreams. Examples: CI/CD overhaul, cloud migration of one service, data pipeline rebuild.

Medium engagement

6 months

Multiple teams, platform-level changes. Examples: microservices extraction, CRM/ERP modernization, full-stack rebuild.

Large engagement

9–12 months

Organization-wide transformation. Multiple workstreams, broad capability building, cultural change program.
